The Trinity is an Orthodox holiday, which is celebrated after fifty days after Easter. This is the last spring holiday, personifies the end of sowing. Before the adoption of Christianity, Mokshas (especially peasants) performed rituals that contributed to a good harvest, prosperity in the economy, and health to people and livestock.

The Trinity preparations began on the Friday of the preceding week, when the house and yard were cleaned. It was on this day that they began to bake pies for the Trinity rites. On Saturday, before dinner, Mokshas went to the cemetery to commemorate the dead. So, they paid tribute to the bygone generations of ancestors.

Important note: the birch was the central character in the celebration events. The Trinity birch in the songs was called "summer day", which unmarried girls "brought" to the village.
